Phlebotomy Class

I just had my 4th Phlebotomy Class last night. I never thought that I would like this class as much as I do. I love going to class and drawing blood. It was so scary the first time but now that I've done it a few times its so easy and I dont get scared like I used to...except for last night. Last night we learned how to do a butterfly draw. The butterfly is a teeny tiny needle that has two wings to hold onto when drawing blood. These are for when you cant find a vein in the bend of the arm. If you have to use these you are usually drawing blood from the hand or forearm. We had to practice on our partners. I know it sounds weird but the smaller the needle the more pain. Anyway, that was my rant about that. I am so excited about getting my license and being able to do this everyday. I would like to get a job in a doctors office....if anyone knows of anything please let me know. I would be grateful :)
