floods and pet peeves

Pretty sure I am in a total panic! The creek that runs through Murray Park and runs right next to my apartment is flooding over! And no I am not being dramatic...take a look at the pictures...the park is under water and its getting worse. Its crazy! And now my parking lot is flooding. I am totally panicking that my apartment is going to flood. I keep thinking about the Tennessee floods and how the water flooded over 3 story buildings. Helloooo!!! My apartment is only on the 2nd story! :( Any way....lets just pray that it doesnt get too bad.

Ok so one of my biggest pet peeves is when parents cant control their child. Seriously? Dont threaten your child with empty threats! IT DOES NOTHING!! Lets just say that we have some family who think its bad to punish your child because it will break his spirit? WTF? Break his spirit? Ummmm....pretty sure your child is the school bully and gives people black eyes. Oh did I forget to mentiont that he's only 6....oh and he started doing this when he was 3...BREAK THE FREAKIN SPIRIT!! You better believe that I will punish my children if they dont listen to me.

Another thing I need to get off my chest.....I volunteered to do Thanksgiving dinner at my house this year(granted that we have a house and not a 800 square foot apartment). Well now I am hearing that a certain someone doesn't want to go because she doesnt want to spend it with someone else. Honestly I'm not offering to have Thanksgiving Dinner to punish you. I want to have it at my house so that Hubs and I don't have to run to 3 different dinners within a 5 hour time span like we did last year. Guess what?! It's not fun.....so please get over yourself and come to our dinner...anyway....

  2. Three comments. First, that flood is a freak of nature-that's it. Second, don't beat your children and if you must don't leave marks. Third, you can cook? I always thought that you married Brett for his cooking abilities haha.
