For Fathers Day weekend hubs and I went to Yuba with his dad's family and some friends. We had sooo much fun. It was a much needed getaway for the both of us. Life just gets too hectic sometimes and we love to be able to get away from it all for a weekend. Nothing exciting or strange happened. Which is actually reall perfect. It was such a relaxing weekend. Hubs got to fish(which he was sooo excited about) and I got to lay on the back of the boat and tan(which I was sooo excited about). We also got to spend some time with his dad's family and friends. I love being with these people. They always make you feel so welcome. I remember the first time I met my father in law. I remember how welcoming he was. He walked right up to me and gave me a big hug and said welcome to the family. Brett and I had only been dating for about a week and yet this man was so welcoming to me. He is such a great dad. He always puts his boys before anything and he is always willing to help you no matter what. He is such a great example for Brett and I love that Brett looks up to him. Joe you are such a great dad to both of us :)
After we got home from the lake, we went over to my parents to spend Fathers Day with my dad. We went to dinner at Famous Dave's. It was delicious! We ate so much that we were full all night long. We then went back to my parents and watched a movie. I love my dad so much! He really is the best dad any girl could ask for. He is such an amazing person and so kind to everyone. He's a hard worker and has instilled that in me too. I look up to my dad for guidance and help. He is an amazing role model. I love you dad!
I know that one day Brett will be an amazing dad. He is always so good with kids. He is such an amazing man. I love him so much and cant wait to see him with our little babies. I love you so much Brett!
