Happy Anniversary to us!!

We made it! We just celebrated our first anniversary! This has been such an amazing year. I have grown so much and my life has changed for the best. We were looking back at what we've done this year and we've done so much in a year. We got married, went on a cruise to the Caribbean, birthdays, job loss, job gain, two car accidents(both in my car), moved into our house, fixed a leak, torn down sheetrock because of another leak, hosted Christmas dinner, remodeled our master bedroom and made it a whole year of marriage. It may not seem like a lot to you but with everything came a lot of stress, fights and tears(all mine). But in this last year we have grown up and we've become even closer as a couple and even friends. I love that my husband is my best friend.

It only seemed right that we celebrate our first anniversary doing some of the things that we did last year. Last year, the day after our wedding we went to the Auto Expo. So of course when we found out that the Auto Expo was in town this weekend we made sure we were going. So yesterday we went to lunch at Crown Burger, went to the Auto Expo, checked in to the Bed and Breakfast that we stayed at on our wedding night, went to dinner at the Olive Garden, saw The Dilemma and spent the night at the B&B. When we checked in to the bed and breakfast they had upgraded our room again and gave us the same room we stayed in last year. They also made the same breakfast that they made last year. It was definitely a cool coincidence.

We came home this afternoon and found out that our roof was leaking again....stupid roof. We were upset at first but then thought and talked about it. Its an answer to our questions of what we should be doing. We wanted to sell our house and buy a house because of how low interest rates are. But this leak is our answer to just stay here. We are going to obviously replace our roof and then just make this our home for awhile. Its not somewhere where I want to stay forever but for now its obviously where we need to be.

Our first year of marriage was great. I am so excited to see what the next year brings.
