short term memory, sneezing and dates

It all began last monday. Brett and I were looking over his work schedule and realized that we both had saturday night off, so we decided to make it a date night with dinner and a movie. Plan set. Now skip forward to Thursday night and I'm at work. My manager comes up to me and says "we're sending you home early and having you work an open to close on saturday because we'll be short handed ok?" so I say ok! I would love to go home early and not have to close thursday. So I come home and Brett looks at me and says "well because you're so amazing and working all day saturday, I'm taking you to dinner and a movie." I looked at him with that confused look and said "Wasn't that the plan for saturday anyway?" Yeah my husbands memory is that bad! I'm just proud of him for being able to remember our anniversary and my birthday haha thats all I need. So anyway he said "oh yeah...well now its a double date with K and his wife." Now skip forward to Saturday morning. I get up at 5:45 for the 7 am morning meeting at work. Then I work all day to 630 pm. I get home at 7. I feel like crap because my allergies have now turned to a cold that is kicking my butt! I sneeze about 27 times(no joke) while getting ready for dinner. And then we leave. We went to dinner at Carinos because Brett can not pass up a deal on all you can eat pasta. He ended up eating 2 plates of pasta....it makes me want to puke just thinking about it...while I got my usual Carinos plate...pepperoni macaroni. Yes its delicious! Then we head to the movie theater. Of course we make a pit stop to a gas station to get some snacks and a drink for the movie. This is really the only reason why I have such a big purse. Its so easy to sneak stuff in...we're such rebels haha. We ended up seeing Source Code. It was definitely a great movie! If you've ever seen Deja Vu with Denzel Washington, it was a lot like that. It was not a predictable movie at all. Which was very refreshing. I feel like so many movies out there are very predictable. It was a great night. I can't wait for the next date night. Hopefully its soon :)
