For memorial weekend hubs family always goes to the sand dunes. So naturally this memorial weekend we went to the sand dunes. Its always fun...but it seems that something always has to go wrong....and this trip didnt let us down. My father-in-law didnt winterize his trailor so when 
we were down there for Easter he found out that his water heater had burst....a week ago he decided to finally fix it...which meant that we would have no hot water because it takes 2 weeks to fix it, strike one. On our first night we went to turn the heater on and instantly smelled propane(not a good thing to smell in an inclosed trailor). So we had to shut the heater off. In the middle of the night my father-in-law realized why we could smell it....he forgot that when you pull out the water heater you have to cap off the propane line that leads into it...hence why we could smell propane. No heater for the weekend, 
strike two. During our Easter trip hubs 4wheeler started "bogging down" on him...he thought that maybe it was just the spark plug. So he decided to change it the night before we left. When we got down there we went for a ride and it still "bogs" then his brothers 4wheeler start doing the same thing. Great, now we're down two 4wheelers, oh and did i forget to mention that now the trailor toilet is backed up because it hasnt been emptied....strike 3 and 4. But all and all this weekend was actually pretty good. I love spending time with our families and it was nice to have his dads family and also my parents down there with us. We love our families so 
much. My thought for today is to take today and remember all who have fought for our freedom and all who will fight for our freedom in the future. Also remember your loved ones who have passed on. Because without them you wouldn't be here today. Happy Memorial Day!
