turkeys and sleepovers

Brett went turkey hunting this weekend and came home empty handed. He said they didn't even see one turkey. He thinks he heard one, but then it could've also been another hunter. LAME! I guess we have to buy our Thanksgiving turkey this year. They got some good footage of some moose(meese/mooses) and then said they had fun shooting their bows at chipmunks. So sad!! Oh and don't worry....they got it on camera :(

While hubs was out hunting chipmunks I was sleeping over at my parents. I slept there because I am so paranoid about everything and panicked that if I stayed at my house alone the house would get broken in to and no one would be there to defend me and I would end up just letting the robbers take everything we own. (pathetic, I know, but that's how my mind works). I loved staying at my parents house. Its so sad but I totally miss sleeping with my dog(but I did miss hubs that night). It was nice to come home and be with my husband again. Even though it was just one night apart I missed him like crazy, and now I have to prep myself for the fall when its deer hunting season and he's gone for 3 days. Dont worry Mom and Dad....I'll be sleeping over again :)
