s been great! Its been filled with campfires in the canyon, soccer games, familys BBQ's, parades and firworks. I love summer because of everything that goes on, I just can't stand the heat. But I guess its all apart of summers in Utah. I love hanging out with our families. July has to be my favorite month in the summer. I love the 4th of July breakfast and parade in Murray Park. My family has gone for at least the last 10 years, if not more. I also love the BBQ we do on the 4th. I love being with my family and our friends. And of course fireworks are always amazing. In between the 2 holidays is Hubby's birthday. I love celebrating his birthday and spending th
e day with him. We have tried to make our birthdays special, so on our day we get to do whatever we want and eat wherever we want. I'm kinda bummed because hubs may have to work on his birthday so we wont be able to do much. But it'll still be great. I also have a love for the 24th of July. When my dad and his siblings were young, my Grandma started a tradition of going up Millcreek Canyon and making breakfast. Then the kids grew up and started having little famililies of there own so the group grew. My Grandma passed away in 1984 and my family kept the tradition going. Now the family is getting bigger and its getting harder to get together because 
we all have our own schedules. I never met my Grandma but I feel like its my obligation to her to keep this breakfast going. Every year I figure out who is going and plan the meal and who is going to bring what. I love doing this because I feel like its something that will keep my family together. I feel like I owe it to my Grandma. She did so much for the family as a single mother of 4. She deserves to have this tradition never die. Needless to say I LOVE planning this day. Happy summer to everyone!

Awww Allie, I love that tradition! That is sooooo awesome and very inspirational. I cant wait to go camping with you guys, it will be soooo much fun! Love ya girl!
