birthdays, boating, and rodeos

This last week has been pretty busy! Last monday was the hubbys birthday! He's finally 21! Wooohooo! We went to an early dinner at Cafe Rio with his mom, stepdad and little sister. Then we went to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. I love this place! Last time we went was for my birthday in March. They didn't have the penguins back then so we finally got to see the penguins. I was sooo excited. I love penguins. I was so happy to be able to spend hubs birthday with him. I love being able to spend his days off with him and to be able to spend all day on his birthday was even better. I love him so much and he is the biggest support in my life. I am sooo glad that he had a good birthday.

On Thursday hubs and I left for Echo Resevoir. My father in law has had a spot up there for the last two years. We love going up there and being able to get away for a little bit. Our spot is perfect. It has the perfect amount of shade anytime during the day and its right on the beach. Perfect! We were able to spend all day Thursday together. Hubs spent most the day bowfishing for carp, while I layed on the back of the boat and tanned. Friday afternoon 6 of our friends came up to spend the rest of the weekend with us. It was so much fun and so nice to be able to hang out with them. My parents and father-in-law and his wife came up. I love being with our families and its so fun when they are all together. All in all this was definitely a good and much needed weekend.

Last night we went to the Days of 47 Rodeo. I love rodeo's. We were able to go with my parents, hubs mom and little sister, his brother and girlfriend. It was so fun and such a great experience. I definitely am thinking that I would like to make this a yearly tradition for us and our future family. Good idea? I think so :)
