its about time

I finally got a job! I am so relieved and so happy! Its been 4 months since I've had a job...if you can call working one day a week for 4 hours a day...anyway....I HAVE A JOB! I will be working at Octapharma as a donor floor tech. You're probably reading this saying Octa-what and donor floor tech? Is she high? No I am not high...the drug tests came back negative haha Octapharma is a plasma donation center and it is located up on the U campus. I will be the person setting up the machines and undoing them after the donation. I will also be cross-trained in other positions such as Medical Screener, Donor Floor Phlebotomist and anything else they feel the need to train me in. I could not be more happy right now. I can finally contribute to the marital funds. My prayers were definitely answered. Maybe not as fast as I wanted them to be but they were answered the way that they needed to be. I start 9 am Thursday morning. I love it and am so excited! And in his own un-excited way so is the hubs. The man doesnt show much emotion but I can tell the little boy inside him is jumping up and down with joy!

And to celebrate my adultness, Hubby and I are going to the fair tomorrow. I love the fair. I get my fix of fattening foods, farm animals, vendors and the freaks that make this world go round. Oh I love it.

A little side note.....yesterday as Hubs was walking out the door for work he hugged me and thanked me for always making sure our home looks good and clean. It might have something to do with the fact that the night before I went all OCD on him when we were putting the clean sheets on the bed. I was getting frustrated because he wasnt putting the comforter on straight...he may have gotten upset and called me crazy...to which I replied "I just want our house to look nice!"...to which he replied "no one is going to see it! Its midnight and we're going to bed!"..to which I replied "but I'll see it and the whole time I'm sleeping I'll know its crooked and I wont be able to sleep!" and with that I won and he fixed it....I know I am crazy but he knew that when he married me. But I do love when he thanks me for the little things....I'll take a compliment no matter how I get it :)
