saying goodbye to the past

I did it...I sold my car! I've had this car since I was 16. It was my baby! But Im ready for bigger and better! The plan is to get either a Jeep Grand Cherokee or a Dodge Durango. I feel ready for that new chapter in my life....but I already miss my car. I bawled like a baby. I couldn't even watch them drive away because I was so sad. Even writing this is making me tear up...but I do feel like its a good thing. I'm letting go of the past, in a way. This will be my grownup, married woman car. I am so excited! Hopefully we can find a good car and a good deal. We almost had one today...and when I say almost, I mean we were about to sign on the loan and found out that the guy forgot to mention that it was a rebuilt title...just a minor detail....so obviously we said NO THANK YOU! It sucked but I'm hoping it was for the best....hopefully a car will show up soon....special shout out thanks to my dad for letting me borrow his car while we search for a new one. Wish us luck and no more dirtbags!
