since my last post I have gotten a new car...I got a Jeep Grand Cherokee..its a 2001. Its black with leather interior, heated seats, sunroof, power everything...its pretty much awesome.
we also got a new dog. She is a Mini Schnauzer. Her name is Indy and we are so in love with her. She has the cutest personality and little attitude. I'm so excited that we have her.
Halloween was good. We basically just spent the day with family. We went to Brett's little sisters elementary parade. We dressed our puppy up as a pumping(freaking adorable)! Halloween night we spent bouncing around our parents houses. Not too exciting, but I do love spending time with family.
Before the holiday chaos began we(I) got some bug up my butt that we needed to repaint our living room, dining room and guest bathroom. We ended up only having like 3 weeks to do everything...it was crazy but the rooms turned out looking great! I am in love with the colors we chose.
Thanksgiving was great. I ended up having a 5 day weekend(Thursday-Monday). We had Thanksgiving dinner at our house with my parents and Brett's dads side of the family. I love hosting family dinners at our house...part of it is because I LOVE having the leftovers. My moms birthday ended up falling on Thanksgiving, so the day after we spent the day getting manicures and shopping. Two of the best things ever!
Christmas Eve and Christmas we spent bouncing around family's houses. We had Christmas dinner at our house which turned out great. Again, I love doing dinner at our house. Christmas was a great Christmas. Our favorite thing was that my parents bought us a new couch to go in our newly painted living room, our old couch was the same color as the new paint...oops.
For New Years we went to our friends Neight and Holly's house. It was a small get-together but it was so fun. We played games all night. Definitely a nice and quiet New Years.
We just celebrated our 2 year anniversary. We spent the night at The Inn on the Hill, which is the bed and breakfast we went to on our wedding night. We always love going there. They are so nice there.
During the last couple months I have also gotten a few promotions at work. I am now currently the Senior Phlebotomist and also the Training Coordinator. I am still enjoying my job and hoping that that feeling won't go away for a long time. Brett is still working at Geek Squad and going to school. I am so proud of him for going back to school.
I can't wait to see what this year will bring us. I'm hoping that its going to be an amazing year!
