Our house has been on the market now for 1 week and a half. In that first week we had 3 people look at our house and one offer. He low balled us 14,000 under our asking price. We countered offered and told him that this is as low as we will go. He then sent us back a statement saying that our house is waaaay over price and that we will never get what we want out of it. We then said, actually our house is a little under what it should be and that he was our first offer in the first week of it being listed, so when he low-balled us we definitely were not about to sell to him. We told him good luck on looking. Brett and I have compared houses in our area and price range to our house and we feel very good about our house selling soon.
I am still having mixed emotions about moving, but I do know that it will be the best thing for us and our future family. It will be nice to be able to stay home while Brett is out hunting and not feel as terrified as I do when I am home now. I really hope that we can get as great of neighbors in our new house as we do now. I seriously love our neighbors and it kills me to think of leaving them.
