My grandma started the tradition of going up Mill Creek Canyon for breakfast every year on the 24th of July. I have taken it upon myself to keep the tradition going. This year it went great. We had plenty of food and tons of little kids running around! There are 4 babies all within 2 weeks of each other...granted 3 of them are triplets...but still. So much fun. I cant wait to throw my little babies into the mix :) hint hint hubby...anyway. Breakfast was a success. Cant wait for next year.
Over the last weekend we went to Lava Hot Springs. This has kind of become a yearly tradition with my family and some great family friends. I love this trip. It is such a relaxing trip and I love being able to just get away and not have anything to do. The town is such a cute small town and you can walk from one end to the other in just a few minutes. LOVE! They have cute little stores there run by the locals. And of course the best part of the trip is riding the river. I love it! Even though I FREAK out everytime I get on my tube and go down the river it is so much fun! Its even better now that I have a husband who enjoys it just as much as I do. The second we get there he gets into little kid mode and all he wants to do is go down the river. I love that he has so much fun there. I want to go back more now, instead of just going once a year. I also want to plan a trip to Jackson Hole, and Yellowstone. I think hubs would love going there because of the wildlife. I love being married and being able to share life experiences with my husband. Is the best man I know and is my support. Without him I dont know what I would do. I am so excited to grow old with him and share our life forever. He is my best friend. Its little things, like these trips, that make me realize how lucky I am.
