parade of homes....disappointment

I dragged the hubby out of the house yesterday to go to the parade of homes...he was sooo not excited but he ended up kind of liking. Shocking!! Anyway...we went to a couple of homes out in Daybreak. They were pretty nice but nothing spectacular. I would never pay that much for a home to not have a yard. RIDICULOUS!! Hubs and I have found builders that will build a bigger home on a bigger property for less....so basically when you buy a house out in Daybreak you are paying to be able to say "Oh I live in Daybreak"...psshh...whatever. Anyway.....The only houses that we really like were, of course, the million dollar homes. Go figure we want the house that has 6 balconies, 6 bedrooms a massive master bedroom with a closet the size of our apartment. Or the other mansion that has 6 bedrooms, indoor basketball court, playhouse upstairs, theater room and a huge backyard. Too bad we're not rich(not yet anyway).

After the parade of homes we drove up to Farmington to see if we could find where the new Best Buy is being built. Our hopes are that when the store is built, hubs can get a supervisor spot and we can move up there. We think we found the complex where they are building it. So after that joyous search we drove around looking for houses for sale. Just to see what the prices are of what we want. We may even be able to build....either way we would just be happy to have a house.

So with the Farmington Best Buy plans, our plan now is to stay in the apartment till we hear about the store in Farmington. We dont want to stay here, but we'd rather stay here than go into major debt in an apartment that we pay too much for or buy a house and then have to turn around and sell it if he goes to the Farmington store. So dont worry Lost Creek. The Bennett's aren't leaving....for now....
